LoLo’s on the Water is a spinoff of their Harlem Mainstay, LoLo’s Seafood Shack, the original Cape Cod + Caribbean Mashup est. 2014.
The LoLo’s experience is inspired by seaside eateries; referred to as lolos, the couple encountered while living abroad in the British West Indies. A lolo serves as a gathering place for locals and travelers alike. The menu is inspired by their Caribbean Roots and travel to over 50 countries together and features today’s catch and Island Style BBQ. LoLo’s unofficial acronym stands for locally owned, locally operated; as the original location opened in Harlem, where LoLo’s founder “Skai” as she is affectionately called was born and raised.
LoLo’s Seafood Shack is a NY Times Critic pick and has been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC, the Food Network amongst others media platforms. Leticia Skai Young is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute, Brearley and UPenn and her husband, Master Latin Chef, Raymond Mohan; is a graduate of the NY Restaurant School.
