With 20 years of experience in luxury restaurants and the hospitality industry, Chef Michael Sullivan was inspired at a young age to pursue a culinary career by his grandmother who would spend countless hours cooking in the kitchen to bring the family together for just one night. He noticed how a good meal would make everything that was going on in each person’s life at the table pause and be replaced with smiles and laughter. Even if it was for a short period of time.

Born in NYC and raised in south Florida he went to Florida Culinary Institute where he pursued hospitality management and culinary arts. Being handed his first kitchen at the young age of 21 where He has worked in restaurants from Miami Fl to NYC.

He has learned to appreciate each ingredient individually and loves using fresh local ingredients from artisan and organic farmers while experimenting with fermentation to expand ingredient flavor profiles. He currently is the Executive Chef of Tabernacle Steakhouse where he is on a mission to raise the bar of fine dining Kosher cuisine.
