Chef Simone Venturini is a culinary professional with over 22 years of experience in upscale restaurants in Italy and New York City.
Born In Sarzana, a small town in the province of La Spezia at the border of Liguria & Tuscany, he started his culinary career early there, before moving to Milan, where he worked with acclaimed chef Matteo Toretta for many years at the renowned Savini and Visconti Palace.
Upon moving to New York 12 years ago, he worked at the traditional neighborhood Upper East Side Caffe dei Fiori, before joining Chef Riccardo Bilotta at A Voce Columbus. He then consulted with Manhattan Italian restaurants including San Carlo Osteria Piemontese, before becoming Executive Chef for Sant’Ambroeus restaurant group with Iacopo Falai.
Despite his traditional culinary training, Simone is always looking for new and exciting ways to push the boundaries while remaining truth to Italian cuisine. He’s constantly experimenting with different flavors, textures and cooking techniques, using creative flair and inspiration from diverse experiences to create dishes that are both innovative and delicious, making dining with him an unforgettable experience.
