Sandwiched in the City that Never Sleeps but Always Eats

You can eat bread. You can eat sliced meat and/or vegetables and/or cheese. But put them all together—meat, cheese, veggies—between two pieces of bread and you’ve got one of the edible wonders of the world: the sandwich. Spend a Saturday afternoon with Jeff Mauro, host of the Emmy-nominated Food Network show “Sandwich King,” exploring the delicious depths of the sandwich. This walk-around event will feature a large fistful of NYC’s best sandwiches—from meatballs to the Cuban, the banh mi, the French dip and some new creations. DJs will be spinning sandwich-inspired tunes and there will be ample amounts of wine, beer and other beverages to help wash down the sandwiches.

The event takes place at Harbor, a new rooftop venue space on the Hudson River that offers stunning views of New York City to match the superlative sandwiches on your plate.
